Our Projects
Access to Justice for Persons with Disabilities Project
Persons with disabilities (PWDs) across Pakistan continue to face significant barriers in accessing legal protection, justice, and law enforcement support. Recognizing this gap, the Pearls Welfare Foundation has designed a dedicated project to ensure that every person with a disability has access to free legal aid, representation, and protection under the law.
To strengthen this initiative, the Pearls Welfare Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Independent Living Center, formalizing a collaborative partnership focused on the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Project Objective

LEGAL AID AND PROTECTION
Intro: Across Sindh, millions of workers — in agriculture, brick kilns, home-based garment work, domestic labour, transport, and construction — work without contracts, fair wages, or legal protection. Pearls Welfare Foundation exists to change that, one worker, one community, and one policy at a time.
What We Do:
- Policy Advocacy — We push for enforcement of Sindh’s labour laws — minimum wage, social security, safe working conditions — and give workers a seat at the table.
- Worker Organizing & Education — We train worker-leaders in rights, collective bargaining, and cooperative organizing so communities can advocate for themselves long-term.
- Free Legal Aid — Our paralegals and lawyers help recover unpaid wages and fight unlawful dismissal, bonded labour, and injury claims — at no cost.
- Health, Education & Shelter — We connect working families to schooling, healthcare, and secure housing.
Every worker deserves a fair wage, a safe workplace, and a voice. Join us in building a Sindh where labour is respected and protected.
